This piece is about that perplexing zone in our mind between sleep and wakefulness, where nothing is certain. It is redolent with bits of memory, parts of dreams, and fragmentary sensations of uneasiness. We enter a destabelised world where established perceptions buried in our psyche take hold. We toss and turn and,in our minds, we travel along a seam of sensations between waking and sleeping unable to do either, and unable to know where reality lies.

The installation consists of at least 7 rooms. In each room, a projected kinetic image and a sound loop conjure up the impact and resonance of a different aspect of the liminality between reality and dreams.
The images are not video or film, but are magnifications of moving physical objects projected onto the walls.
As you travel through the installation you are immersed in a series of edgy images and sounds charting the ‘moods’ of the mind in those shadowy hours and minutes of the night.
As you leave the installation, the last room allows you to explore another side of such transitional processes, but that needs to be seen on site, at the actual installation…Watch out for its next showing!
